Better than expected

The race went a little better than I expected. I ran a 1:44 and felt pretty good the whole time. It was a little weird to walk into the stadium and imagine that Carl Lewis, Flo Jo, Jackie Joyner-Kersey, and Edwin Moses had performed there.

There were some oddities though. Before the race some bellydancers performed to Korean pop music. Why? That has what to do with the race? However, it was much appreciated by me.
